A polished stainless telescopic passerelle extended from the stern of a large yacht to a stone quay

Deck machinery since 1986 · La Ciotat, and wherever the boat is

The gear that moves
every single day.

A passerelle goes out and in four times before breakfast. It is the most-used machine on the vessel and the one specified last, usually on price. We build the other kind, and we service what somebody else built.

How we work

Why deck machinery fails, and what we do about it

01

The foundation, not the machine

Most passerelle failures are structural. The ram is fine and the deck around it has worked loose. We calculate and get the foundation approved before anything is ordered.

02

One power pack, sized for the deck

Machines specified one at a time each get their own pump, and then two of them cannot run together. Sizing the deck as a system costs less and works better.

03

Seals kept for twenty years

We hold the seal kits for everything we have ever built, including the models we stopped making. A boat should not need a new passerelle because a shaft seal is obsolete.

04

We will service somebody else's

About half our work is on machinery we did not supply. Refusing to touch a competitor's crane is convenient for the builder and useless to the vessel.

An engineer assembling a hydraulic ram at a workshop bench

“Two yards told us the passerelle needed replacing at ninety thousand. These came out, found the deck plating had gone soft under the mount, rebuilt the foundation and refurbished the original. A third of the price and it has not moved since.”

Everything above is a demonstration

The business, the listings and the reviews are invented — this page exists to show what someone could put on yachtgangway.com. The domain itself is genuinely for sale.

Domain for sale

yachtgangway.com is available

You are looking at a demonstration, not a real business. We built it to show what this domain could carry — the company, the stock and the reviews are invented.

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us who you are and what you would use it for. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation.

  2. 2

    Agree a price

We reply with a price or consider your offer. Most conversations are settled within a couple of working days.

  3. 3

    Pay into escrow

Funds go to a licensed third-party escrow agent, never straight to us. They hold the money until the transfer is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Take ownership

We push the authorisation code to your registrar. You control the domain, usually within a week; escrow then releases the funds.

The demonstration site is not part of the sale by default — but if you want it, say so in your enquiry and we will include the source.
